Climatological analysis at Mt. Graham
In this page the climatology of atmospheric and astroclimatic parameters that are daily measured at LBT are displayed. With the term 'climatology' we mean estimates of the parameters extended on long-time scales performed with in-situ insturments/sensors. The idea is to provide an estimate in continuum evolution that allows us to monitor the history of atmospheric and astroclimatic conditions. Seeing is measured with a DIMM located inside the LBT dome (see Fig. 1). Atmospheric parameters (temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction) are measured with dedicated sensors located in-situ (Fig. 2). Temperature and relative humidity sensors are located on the rear mast. Wind speed and directions sensors are located on the rear and front sensors (see Turchi et al. 2017). Every year, the LBT is shut down for two months (July and August). During these two months scientific observations are not executed.
